these spaces between us

the spaces between us...
so close, yet hollow.

if i walk I will fall,
through the clear light your visage

it contracts space to sheer intimacy
and with searching looks we commune

i like this silence
i fear this silence...

we are strangers, so close, so different--
thrust in a space where words lose meaning.

my eyes are downcast, held with a spell
emanating from the fear in your livid eyes

what is it you fear? is it that i may not say
the thing you have waited to hear, which you don't want to hear?

the silence seethes through the spaces between us
your eyes on mine, mine in yours

and i know, it is now or never... we are strangers
yet somewhere we have known each other--

i know your fear... dear sister, the fear of seeing things go,
and i am afraid i may see you go also.

how can i forget this... when you were reading this i felt something, something unusual yet familiar. was it fear? believe me i tried ignoring this but as i listen to your reading i understand. yes the fear will always be there but it would haunt me for the rest of my life i didn't try...
some people may not understand this but i know you will Rom.

You are right. The spaces could also be those of fear... the unnamed fear we all grow with. We hardly hold something in our palms than it slips off our fingers like loose water. But there is always something that stays... what makes us understand we are unique and different from others.

welcome to the WORLD OF HAVEN VALLEY

I am not a cut different from the ordinary human who walks the street. But in my journey, I strive to understand the music that surges from the wide worlds within every individual, that which makes him/her that fragile and sacred at the same time. I have found myself sometimes looking at someone farting with thumps-up as though goading him on to sanity. Seemingly meaningless things have been things that have communicated sense to me especially during louring hours. That is what this journal is. I offer these thoughts to the world with wonted pleasure and gratitude to all that awakens the human in me.
